Review by hotel critic
During our recent family stay at Tomato Backpackers in Turin, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised by its family-friendly atmosphere. As a former food critic, I often judge accommodations by the little details, and Tomato didn't disappoint. We traveled with our three sons and appreciated the spacious common areas, where the boys made new friends and enjoyed some downtime. The outdoor backyard provided an inviting spot for them to play while we relaxed. Even at 50, I can appreciate the value of a quiet evening! Each morning, we indulged in a simple yet satisfying breakfast of cakes and toast in the main café area. The kids loved having the option to café-coffee in bed, a little indulgence I might say, especially after a day of exploring old Turin. The staff were responsive and thoughtful, often going the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. A secure environment with helpful amenities made our stay enjoyable. If you're seeking a welcoming spot to experience Turin with family, I'd certainly recommend Tomato Backpackers.
